Etros Music came about when a close friend, Ron Osenenko, asked me to help him find Giannini instruments for his newly acquired Woodstock Music Shoppe.  He knew that I had lived in Brazil for nearly 20 years and would be able to help him out. 

A lot happened after that call and can be summed up like this.   I travelled to Sao Paulo , visited the factory and met  with Giorgio Giannini, his sons Roberto and Flavio.  Sr. Giorgio later gave me contact info for Renato DeMoraes, the Marketing Manger for Giannini in the 1980s.  We met and laid out our ideas for importing Giannini and distributing in the US. 

Less than six months later, in May 2004, Etros Music LLC was open for business and Renato & I  were anxiously awaiting our first container of Giannini Instruments and Strings.
